Back in Gladbach early

Tomáš Čvančara actually wanted to get back on track at Antalyaspor. But the Turkish experiment is over prematurely. The background is explosive and raises questions.
Tomáš Čvančara is back at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Sports director Rouven Schröder confirmed this to the “Kicker” and the “Rheinische Post”. Čvančara’s contract was terminated in Turkey. “We are expecting him to leave for the training kick-off on January 2nd at Borussia Park,” said Schröder.
The Czech striker has been playing for Antalyaspor on loan since July. His contract with Mönchengladbach runs until the end of June 2028. The club did not comment on the exact reasons for the termination of the contract.
Turkish media report that Čvančara has not received a salary from Antalyaspor for a long time and has therefore lodged a complaint with the world association Fifa. Because of this complaint, he was no longer considered in the squad.
