Landscape designer Christina Walden fulfills actress Anna-Maija Tuoko’s wish Villa & scream in the program.
Anna-Maija’s family’s summer place is a cottage in Kuivanmaa, which her actress husband Kari Heiskanen bought already 40 years ago in Pirkanmaa. At that time, Anna-Maija, now 45, was still a child. The couple has a 26-year age difference.
In the villa & in Huussi only Anna-Maija and the couple’s two daughters are seen. It is for the children – and for herself – that Anna-Maija hopes for a big change in the yard. The most important thing is the swimming place. However, there are no plans for a swimming pool, but a natural pool that is landscaped into the surroundings.

A good second on the wish list is a lawn for yard games and cartwheels. The previous one went badly, when Kari took the reins into his own hands secretly from his wife.
A special solution was reached a couple of years ago, when Kari renovated a man cave from the barn at the back of the yard. The lawn, which was already in poor oxygen after the previous renovation, took another hit.
– Kari’s solution to the fact that the yard turned to mush was to fill the entire backyard with gravel, without asking me, Anna-Maija recalls on TV.
– I was not satisfied. Now that I’ve been whining here like a nice spouse, I decided that I want the professionals there.

Even though Anna-Maija has enjoyed her summers in Pirkanmaa for several years, the place still doesn’t feel completely her own. With the yard renovation, Anna-Maija wants to leave her own mark.
