Borussia Mönchengladbach’s second goalkeeper, Tobias Sippel, shines in a new “look” at the start of the preparations. “I underwent a hair transplant. I also stand by that, I’ve had it done before. This time it wasn’t my own hair, but hair with synthetic hair,” said the goalkeeper when asked by “Bild”.
The new hair was matched to the color of the old hair. “If my real hair is cut, the new hair shouldn’t get in the way,” Sippel said when asked if he had to take special care of his hair.
Tobias Sippel has been playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2015, but has never progressed beyond the status of number two. The Swiss Yann Sommer is the first goalkeeper for the “foals”. Sippel has played 18 competitive games for Borussia since 2015, and his contract has one year left.
