Ache dream goal is not enough

Ragnar Ache ensured the highlight of the first half with his lead goal in the 41st minute: Lautern’s striker circulated a wonderful direct shot from a good 20 meters over Elversberg’s goalkeeper Nicola Kristof. In the final phase (75th), Muhammed Damar achieved the deserved compensation for the strong guests from Elversberg in the second round.

“In the end we rewarded ourselves”said Elversberg’s coach Horst Steffen at the Sportschau microphone. The backdrop on the Betzenberg and the force of the Lauterer had an effect in the first round of his team: “Nevertheless, we had our opportunities, in the second half we came into play.”

FCK with strong start – Ache hits the lead

The hosts came into the game much better. Daniel Hanslik missed the first mega chance when he actually only had to push a rebound over the line. From a short distance and with an empty gate, the FCK professional only hit the bottom edge of the latte (19th). On the other hand, Lukas Petkov (23rd) failed with a massive degree to FCK keeper Julian Krahl – it was the only offensive campaign for the guests in the first round.

Ache then got the deserved leadership after an attack -like attack shortly before the break – the promotion rooms among the fans on the Betzenberg became more tangible.

Elversberg at once after the break dangerous

But Elversberg came out of the cabin with a significantly more offensive urge – and became fire dangerous with quick advances. Lautern’s keeper Krahl saved twice against Elversberg’s top scorer Fisnik Aslllani and against the free-standing Petkov. In the case of Damar’s equalization, in which the vote in Lautern’s defense was incorrect, Krahl was powerless.

Kaiserslautern missed an important victory due to the late goal, but the shape curve after the winter break is still confident: In the past eight games, the Palatinate has only lost once.

Lautern in Paderborn, Elversberg against Münster
