The suspicions on which the minors have been arrested vary from criminal exploitation, possession of firearms and committing violent street robberies. During the arrest, an object was found that looks like a firearm. Items were also found that clearly come from the theft, such as false money and heavy fireworks.
Street robbery
The reason for the large -scale investigation into the youth group in Haarlemmermeer was a street robbery in Haarlem, last 5 May. At the time, an 18-year-old boy from Haarlemmermeer was arrested as a suspect. He had a firearm in his pocket at that time. Later another minor suspect was arrested, who is currently still stuck.
As a result of the big investigation, three minor suspects have now been arrested. All three are still stuck for interrogation. The police report that in the investigation they are looking for more possible suspects who may be part of the criminal youth group.
