Three houses were evacuated tonight on the Korenmolen in Klazienaveen after a gas leak has been created. The leak came through excavation work in the street.
The leak was created outside and a spokesperson for the fire brigade says that a ‘decent environment’ has been deposited near the Korenmolen. According to bystanders, this would be about 600 meters. Measurements from the fire brigade showed that the situation was dangerous enough to evacuate surrounding homes.
When the residents can return to their home is not yet clear. As far as we know, nobody was injured.
