Thomas van Groningen from Tilburg won the Televizier-Ring Talent on Thursday evening. During the Televizier gala, the most prestigious television awards in the Netherlands were presented for the 60th time.
Van Groningen is known for the TV programs Today Inside and News of the Day.
Hélène Hendriks from Breda was nominated for Televizier-Ring Presenter. That prize ultimately went to Martijn Krabbé. The 57-year-old presenter announced in January that he has metastatic lung cancer and is not getting better.
