On October 1, 2025, Thomas Skuldboel took over the position of Managing Director of Frank Walder Frankenwälder E. Held GmbH & Co. KG. In this position, as Head of Marketing & Sales, he will play a central role in the strategic direction of the two brands Frank Walder and Tuzzi.
Thomas Skuldboel comes from Denmark and lives in Munich. He has more than 20 years of experience in the international textile and lifestyle industry. Stations in his career took him to Redgreen, Bestseller, PBO, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marc O’Polo, Ecco and Sportalm. His expertise includes sales, brand management – also in international marketing, as well as a deep understanding of the entire value chain in the areas of retail, wholesale and e-commerce.
Skuldboel succeeds Andreas Gotschke, who is retiring at the end of the year after six years as managing director. “His extraordinary experience and tireless commitment have strengthened Frank Walder and Tuzzi in a difficult phase, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank him very much for his excellent work for our company,” says Carolin Kittel, Managing Partner of the Held Group.
The Held Group from Münchberg has united the fashion brands Frank Walder and Tuzzi as well as the fabric retailers Stoffmeile and Stoffpalette under one roof since August 2024.
