Thomas Buffel, 35-time Red Devil, was allowed to officially open the field. “There is nothing better than teaching young talents and seeing the youth grow,” he says. “My own sons of six and ten are already good with a ball. You learn that on squares like this. I hope that such a project motivates children to come and play football together, instead of sitting inside with a tablet.”
