Thom Yorke wrote the score for “Confidenza.”

The thriller with Yorke’s music will premiere in Rotterdam at the end of January.

Radiohead and The Smile singer Thom Yorke composed the film music for the Italian thriller “Confidenza”.

It is not the musician’s first soundtrack work: he already brought his skills to “Suspiria” in 2018. But his music can also be heard in “Motherless Brooklyn”, “Children Of Men” and “Vanilla Sky”.

The work by director Daniele Luchetti (“Lacci”) is based on the novel by Domenico Starnone and will be presented on the big screen for the first time at the International Film Festival (IFFR) in Rotterdam at the end of January. The IFFR states in a description of the content: “Enigmatic, claustrophobic and intense – enhanced by Thom Yorke’s music – ‘Confidenza’ is an exquisite thriller and a profound analysis of human behavior.”

Despite the upcoming premiere in Rotterdam, there doesn’t seem to be a confirmed release date for German cinemas yet.

Thom Yorke himself shared a first announcement on his Instagram account, in which he posted the poster for “Confidenza” without further comment. However, there are currently no music excerpts to be heard.
