Thom Browne launches collection with glassware manufacturer Baccarat

Thom Browne unveils a collaboration with French glassware manufacturer Baccarat.

The US luxury brand is presenting a crystal glass collection in collaboration with Baccarat, Thom Browne announced. The designer curated the line himself.

The collection includes four glasses, a champagne glass, two wine glasses, a whiskey glass and a decanter. Browne calls the ‘yacht glass’ particularly special, as it stands out due to its square base. It was designed by Baccarat designer Georges Chevalier in 1925 for the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris.

Each model was handcrafted by Baccarat’s artisans in Lorraine, France. These are newly edited designs from the archives of the glassware manufacturer, whose beginnings date back to the 18th century. A modern extension was added using Browne’s signature beam motifs.

The glasses are available in a set of two and can be purchased in the Thom Browne online shop and in selected brand stores worldwide. Prices are 327 euros for a tumbler set, 484 euros for a champagne coupe set and 717 euros for a set of yacht glasses.
