Alec Baldwin recently got into a heated examination of the Donald Trump imitator Jason Scoop. In a video published on Twitter you can see how Scoop approaches the actor while he invites his luggage to a car. The comedian immediately begins to provoke Baldwin with insults and offensive jokes – and quite below the belt line.
He criticizes Baldwin’s representation of Trump in “Saturday Night Live” and alludes to the tragic incident on the set of the film “Rust” in October 2021, in which the camera woman Halyna Hutchins was killed. Scoop describes the incident as a “cold -blooded murder”.
This is how Alec Baldwin reacted
Baldwin finally turns visibly annoyed to Scoop and says: “If the camera were not here, I would break the damn neck.” He also reminds Scoop that they are in front of the building where his children live.
The incident occurred shortly after the announcement of Baldwin’s new reality show “The Baldwins”, in which he and his family give insights into their lives. In the series, Baldwin speaks openly about the difficult time after the tragic accident on the “Rust” set. According to the celebrity magazine “People”, he describes the year after the incident as “just terrible” and “surreal”. His wife Hilaria reports on the psychological problems of her husband and the diagnosis of post -traumatic stress disorder. She quoted Alec with the words: “If there was an accident that day, why am I still there? Couldn’t it have hit me? ” The series should appear in spring.
The trial for negligent killing against Baldwin was discontinued in July 2024 after the judge found that the public prosecutor had held decisive evidence that could have explained how sharp ammunition came to the film’s set. Baldwin then filed a lawsuit against the investigators. He accuses the public prosecutor and the investigators of malicious persecution and violation of civil rights.
