In corona time, a very cool camping site has been added near Zoetermeer. Buitenplaats Molenwei has camping pitches for people with campers and camper vans. You can also rent very cozy hikers’ cabins and retro caravans on the site. A hidden place in the Green Heart where we went to take a look.

Country estate Molenwei has a beautiful camping site behind the farmyard in Stompwijk. In the middle of the countryside, full of birds, tall trees and other greenery. The site is not suitable for children, but it is a very nice place to go with your mother, a friend or your partner.

Groups and barbecue workshops

Buitenplaats Molenwei is actually a group accommodation for companies and families. A farm has been converted into a meeting and wedding hall. In times of corona, the camping site has been added and you can follow barbecue workshops from Weber.

For motorhomes and campervans

Only campers, minivans and campervans are welcome at Buitenplaats Molenwei. Caravans and folding trailers are not. There are only 20 pitches, to reserve is handy because the outdoor area fills up quickly. In summer, families can rent a tipi tent.

Hire a hiker’s cabin or retro caravan

The hikers’ cabins and retro caravans are really nice. You can rent them per night, per week it is comparatively cheaper. They are all colorful and cosily furnished. There is power supply and breakfast with the caravan. The toilets are nearby, as are clean drinking water.
