This is the winner (and top 10) of the NH Radio Top 100

NH Radio was dominated by the NH Radio Top 100 all day today. We had to wait until the last moment to see which North Holland song came out as the winner. The last ten songs, and with them the winner, of the hit list were just announced in the studio.

It remained exciting in the radio studio until the last moment. But just before six it finally became clear which number is in place 1 in this year’s NH Radio Top 100. Two band members had traveled specially to Hilversum to receive the golden microphone cup there.

West Frisian glory

While down-to-earth band members Simon Knoin (real name Kees Kalver) and Kloine Gertje (real name Edwin de Weerd) open another beer, they get their hands on the one and only NH Radio Top 100 cup. They respond with enthusiasm and see it as a crown on their musical work.

‘Finally’ and ‘skoftig’ the band members respond to the number 1 standard. They are happy that North Holland has opted for their West Frisian ‘peasant rock’.
