Bid log
When you make a bid, you naturally hope for a good result. Unfortunately, this is not self-evident in the current market. If you make a mistake and want to know why, you can request the bidding log.
This is as follows: if an offer is accepted and the purchase contract has been signed, there will first be a three-day cooling-off period. During those three days, a buyer can withdraw. If that not the case, the sale is official after those three days.
From that moment on, anyone who has made a bid can request the bidding log. In it you can see all the bids that have been made. The bidding log is anonymized, so you don’t have to worry that everyone will see your information! Since January 1, the bidding log is mandatory for all brokers who are affiliated with the Dutch Association of Brokers (NVM). You can read more about the bidding log here.
