Jörg Wontorra has had several marriages, but the sports presenter only has two children with one woman. This is his ex-wife Ariane.
Jörg Wontorra has been in front of the camera for over 50 years. During that time, a lot has changed for the sports presenter, not only professionally, but also privately. The now 77-year-old began his career as a reporter in the 1970s. His first major assignment: the 1974 World Cup.
At the time, Jörg Wontorra was in his mid-20s and not yet married. It was only two years later that the journalist dared to step in front of the altar. In 1976 he married his first wife Claudia. After ten years the marriage ended in divorce. Shortly before, Jörg Wontorra had taken over the moderation of the ARD “Sportstudio”.

In the eighties, the TV star also met his second wife and the mother of his children. Jörg Wontorra fell in love with Ariane Moschkau. They married in 1988, daughter Laura was born a year later, followed in 1991 by son Marcel. They appeared together in public from time to time. Sometimes as a couple, sometimes with their children.
Not much is known about their relationship. But this marriage also failed. At the beginning of the 2000s, Ariane and Jörg Wontorra separated. Laura was twelve years old at the time, her brother ten. The divorce followed in 2003. In 2004, the sports journalist took over the football talk “Doppelpass”.
“You are my next wife!”
In 2007 his third wife came into his life. Jörg Wontorra fell in love with Heike Hinzkowski at a sports gala. “You are my next wife!” he is said to have said to her at the time. In 2012 the time had come: the two got married. The marriage lasted four years.
In June 2016, the two announced the end of their relationship. Two months later, the sports reporter appeared with a new woman at his side: This time Susanne Bausch, who was 14 years his junior, had conquered the presenter’s heart.
