The first challenge is scheduled for late February in Taiwan. In Taipei, Bonne wants to break the world record for the 48-hour ultramarathon. That now stands at just over 473 kilometers, in the name of the Greek ultrarunner Yannis Kouros. Bonne took over the 6 Days Ultrarun record from him in September last year. Matthieu is now on an altitude training camp in Kenya to prepare for his ultramarathon record attempt. On February 23 we will know whether he can record a fourth world record next to his name.

In the summer he wants to break the 48-hour swimming world record and the 48-hour cycling record this fall. “My goal is not just to break records, but to show the world what is possible when you dare to dream and push your limits,” says Bonne.

Specific dates for these record attempts, just like the locations, have not yet been determined.
