Eliana has suffered, like others affected, the entanglements and subsequent harassment of a suspect who has finally entered jail after being arrested more than 15 times for fraud

The recording published by EL PERIÓDICO is a WhatsApp audio sent to Eliana, a woman who owns a small real estate agency in Barcelona, after allegedly swindling her out of renting a flat on Avinguda de Paral·lel. Sánchez Pacheco came to denounce Eliana, who must now go to trial, denounced by the same man who allegedly tried to swindle her.
To lure Eliana, Sánchez Pacheco used a strategy with which he has previously fraudulently rented apartments and premises, according to other victims and confirmed by police sources consulted. It works as follows: the scammer presents the documentation required by the owner of the apartment to obtain the rental contract and shows bank receipts that seem to certify that the agreed money has just been deposited. However, before the owner of the rented apartment realizes it, Sánchez Pacheco cancels that bank transaction and the victim never gets to collect anything. Non-payment by the scammer always gives way to litigation with the owner of the property that can take months or even years, a time that Sánchez Pacheco takes advantage of to carry out a second scam: illegally sublet that apartment.
Eliana discovered the strategy and partially frustrated it by retrieving the apartment on Avinguda de Paral·lel in an oversight by Sánchez Pacheco and calling the Mossos d’Esquadra. The woman has paid a high price for this action: the scammer denounced her and Eliana will have to face trial for these acts as a defendant. Presumably, her ability to defend herself and to be able to prove that Sánchez Pacheco never really wanted to rent her apartment, that what he had was a plan to entangle her and sublet it illegally, has increased after the arrest of the scammer and his admission to preventive detention: the complainant He will come to the courtroom from jail, locked up on a precautionary basis for events very similar to those Eliana has suffered.
“He wrote to me at all hours, he sends me audios, I have never experienced similar harassment and I think it has affected my health,” laments Eliana, who is encouraged to use her real name despite having verified that Sánchez Pacheco threatens and takes action against those who denounce or uncover how he acts.
