Football club FC Haka’s coaching manager Jeferson Pires has had a long career as a football player and coach.
FC Haka’s coaching manager Jefferson Pires heard about the Tehtaa field fire at his home in Pori. That same evening, Pires drove to Valkeakoski wearing Haka’s shirt to see the devastating sight.
Iltalehti’s reporter asked Pires about his innermost feelings when the end stand of the home field was destroyed in a fire.
– Pretty bad [tuntuu]. I can’t say anything else at this point, Pires said.

Pires said that he last played on Haka’s field in 2009. Only three weeks had passed since the last practice.
Pires is from Brazil and moved to Finland in 2001. During his long career, he has played and coached in several Finnish teams, such as AC Oulu and Pori FC Jazz.
Pires has been the coaching manager of FC Haka Juniors since 2024.
Football club FC Hakan Kotikenttä caught fire on Sunday evening. The end grandstand of the factory field was engulfed in flames. There is no information on the cause of the fire.
Pirkanmaa’s rescue service announced at around 11 pm that the extinguishing work has ended and the representative of the field will remain on guard duty overnight.
