Şanlıurfaspor and Elazığ faced each other in the 9th week of the TFF 2nd League. While the match played at Şanlıurfa 11 Nisan Stadium ended with the guest team winning 2-0, a rare incident occurred on the fields.
The referee of the match, Berkay Erdemir, stopped the game in the 49th minute to show a yellow card after the foul committed by Elazığspor’s Alperen Aydın. Erdemir, who was briefly confused when he could not find the yellow card in his pocket, realized that he had forgotten his card in the dressing room.
This incident, which caused a short pause in the match, ended when the 4th referee Muhammet Alperen Çopur stepped in and handed the reserve yellow card to the referee.
