Yle publishes a ten-part audio drama about Hector, aka Heikki Harma. Hector – Road of the Asphalt Prince -audio drama will be released on Yle Areena on November 11.
According to Yle’s press release, the audio drama deals with Hector’s life from childhood to the present day.
The role of Harman in the audio drama is played by Kristo Salminen.
– It is a privilege to get to know Hector’s world and the sensitivity with which the great lyrics have been created, Salminen says in the announcement.

Hector’s first records Nostalgia, Mr. Mirandos and Hectorock became hugely popular and the youth of the 1970s knew his songs by heart.
According to the release, the drama also deals with the dark side of a great career and the artist’s reflections on inadequacy. With the dark clouds hovering over success, the Lapinlahti mental hospital is also calling. The road of the asphalt prince follows Hector’s journey from high school all the way to the Mestarit Areenalla tour.
Jarno Kuosan the other roles in the audio drama directed by Sampo Sarkola, Eeva Soivio, Elena Leeve, Annika Poijärvi, Elmer Bäck, Alma Pöysti, Pyry Nikkilä, Pyry Kähkönen, Tom Rejström, Amos Brotherus, Pekka Strang and Eppu Salminen play other roles.
