Third national title in a row for Hovocubo after a convincing victory over FC Eindhoven

The indoor football players of Hovocubo have become national champions for the third time in a row. After winning last week, the second match against FC Eindhoven was also won. In Sporthal De Opgang it ended in 8-3.

After a hesitant opening phase, the visitors took the lead in Zwaag. Said Bouzambou tapped the ball in from a corner. Hovocubo’s answer was not long in coming. Captain Joshua St. Juste hit the ball after losing the ball at FC Eindhoven.

The spectacle of the first half was in the tail. First the team from Hoorn was 2-1 thanks to a nice combination. Iliass Bouzit finished off coolly after a one-two with Soufian Charraoui. Still, it was right at rest. Jordany Martinus was the end station of a wonderful attack at the second post: 2-2.

Charraoui makes four

Both teams had chances in the second half. Not surprisingly, it was Hovocubo that struck. Within a minute, Charraoui scored twice. First he was able to free himself and moments later the attacker tapped in after Abdessamad Attahiri had broken through. Eight minutes before the end, Charraoui even completed his hat-trick. FC Eindhoven goalkeeper Manuel Kuijk came far from his goal, but he couldn’t get the ball under control. After that it was a breeze to score the 5-2.

Via Zakaria Amrani it became exciting again. He scored the third goal for the Eindhoven team. The final chord was for Hovocubo. Charraoui was face to face with Kuijk and was not selfish. Faisal Mellah was therefore able to finish. Man of the match Charraoui and Lahcen Bouyouzan scored the last goals just before time: 8-3.

The battle for the national championship was about best-of-three. After the 2-6 in Eindhoven it ends in 2-0 for Hovocubo.
