No Hartono final in Mumbai
Arianne Hartono failed to reach the final at the WTA tournament in Mumbai. The 21-year-old Latvian Darja Semenistaja was too strong for the six-year-older from Groningen in the semi-finals in the Indian city in two sets. The set scores were 7-5 and 6-4.

Hartono is number 153 in the world, Semenistaja is 32 places higher on the list. The Mumbai tournament is a so-called WTA 125 tournament and is therefore one of the smallest tournaments at the highest level.
