Seven young men and a dog had to be rescued this Saturday afternoon after being trapped on a cliff with ice from the pedriza without proper equipment or clothing, the Civil Guard reported in a statement.
The youths and the animal were rescued by the Mountain Intervention Service of the Civil Guard of the Community of Madrid, the Air Service of the Civil Guard and the Special Group of Rescue in Height of the regional Firefighters. They were on a completely frozen wall with a significant slope.
They had to be rescued from the carnations crest, in La Pedriza, without proper equipment or clothing. The Civil Guard helicopter had to carry out four crane cycles, plus one collected on a stone, with hardly any light, until the evacuation of the young people and the dog, all “very scared but fine”have indicated from the Meritorious.
