The rapper Xatar died on May 7, 2025. A year later – in 2026 – the deceased will be honored with a big show in the Lanxess Arena – with companions, music colleagues and rap newcomers.
Budde Talent Agency, the management of Giwar Hajabi, Xatar’s real name, released a statement paying tribute to the rapper: “A concert in honor of Giwar and on the occasion of his anniversary. An evening that shows us before our eyes – and ears – how far we can go when we believe in our dreams. From the streets to primetime, to the biggest arena in the country.”

Tickets for “Tribute to Xatar” on May 7, 2026 in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne are already available through all known ticket offices. The price is around 60 euros.
The musician, who was born in Iran in 1981 and grew up in Bonn, died on May 7, 2025. He left behind a wife and five children. Around 1,000 people, including numerous companions from the rap scene, attended his funeral at Bonn’s North Cemetery.
