The packages are already under the Christmas tree, carefully selected to make a loved one happy. Yet there is still a better end-of-year gift you can give: your blood. No bow around it and no glitter, just in a plastic bag. It can go to a complete stranger, but it can also go to a friend, your mother or child who needs it. The Red Cross is urgently looking for donors. And they don’t just give a gift, they give life and strength to those who really need it.
