A house on the Koolweg in Helenaveen was destroyed by fire on Saturday morning. The entire top floor was on fire. The ground floor mainly suffers from smoke and water damage. According to the police, no one was home when the fire broke out.
The fire brigade used three fire engines to battle the fire.
The fire was under control around a quarter to twelve in the afternoon.
The fire brigade was able to prevent the fire from spreading. The extinguishing will take quite some time.
