The two receive the support of the Dutch riders Lieke Nooijen, Eva van Agt and Femke de Vries, the British Imogen Wolff and the French Marion Bunel.

With Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, the team is aiming for the highest possible ranking in the final classification of the Tour de France Femmes. The 33-year-old Française returned to the road this season after she had focused on mountain biking in previous years. Earlier this season she won Paris-Roubaix.

Marianne Vos

Vos won the green point sweater for the second time last year. The 38-year-old cyclist won two stages in the Tour in 2022 and then also the points classification.

The Tour de France Femmes starts on Saturday in Vannes (Brittany). The fourth edition of the French stage race ends on Sunday 3 August.

“Pauline is physically and mentally ready for it,” says team manager Rutger Tijssen. “For the past two months, she has prepared herself in peace for the Tour. We consciously chose not to ride competitions and emphasize training.”

The reigning Olympic champion on the mountain bike is at the start of the Tour for the first time. “I am really looking forward to races for the French audience. Of course we want to get the most out of it, but for me this tour is primarily an important moment to discover what it is like to drive a stage race of this level. This step fits in a multi -year plan in which I want to gain experience and grow.”

SD Worx – Protime with Wiebes and Van der Breggen in Tour Femmes

SD WORX – Protime with European Champion Lorena Wiebes, world champion Lotte Kopecky and Anna van der Breggen mainly goes on the hunt for stage success in the Tour de France Femmes. The team also says he looks from day to day at the rankings options of Kopecky and possibly Van der Breggen.

The three get the Dutch riders Mischa Bredewold and Femke Gerritse in the Tour. In addition, the Hungarian Blanka VAS and the Italian Elena Cecchini, according to sporting director Danny Stam, start the team’s road captain.

The team reports the original plan to let go with Kopecky as the only leader for the rankings. The Belgian had to get off the Giro d’Italia Women with back problems earlier this month. At Le Grand Départ in Vannes, the team is now starting with the aim of winning as many journeys as possible.
