A passenger plane from Air India with at least 242 passengers crashed near the airport of the Indian city of Ahmedabad, in the northwest of the country. The flight had 242 passengers, 230 passengers, including 11 children, and 12 crew members. 241 passengers died. A British man survived the crash.

The strawberry moon does not owe its name to the red color, but to the period. Many strawberries are harvested during this time of the year.

A wounded Palestinian man is located on the ground of the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. The Israeli army shot at least 31 Palestinians on Wednesday morning at a distribution center for food aid set up by Israel. This reported international press agencies based on Gazan civil protection. The attack took place under Gaza City, at one of the four issues of the controversial food distribution party Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

Participants in the March to Gaza are waved goodbye on departure from Schiphol to Egypt. A group of thousands of people from 35 countries would walk to the border crossing at Rafah during the March. They thereby protest against Israel’s violence in Gaza. Egypt refused participants to the Rafah border crossing near Gaza, among them also Dutch people. It is uncertain whether the journey can continue.
