Ilves, which has struggled in terms of results since the beginning of the season (but played quite well even then), has become the most dominant team in the league in recent weeks. Ilves leads the Liiga’s fitness tracker with 5, 10, 15 and 20 last match picks! Its balances in those categories are 5-0-0-0, 8-1-0-1, 10-2-1-2 and 12-3-2-3.

The series ranking is the third last and the difference to the playoff line is already five points. Will we even see such a miracle this season that Kärpät starts selling off his team’s stars? In fitness weights, Kärpät is close behind in every category. Also in the goal difference statistics, it is only 12th in the entire season, so it cannot be interpreted that there was any real bad luck for Kärpi.
Things to note about tonight’s line-ups are at least that Ilves gets into the game with almost optimal manning (only defender Arttu Pelli and the attacker Carl Klingberg are missing) and the position of the team’s first goalkeeper seems to have been taken, at least temporarily Mantalis Armalis (92.68% / 1.86 / -4.81) From Dominik Pavlat (88.52% / 2.80 / +4.58). In the statistics, the difference in favor of Armalis is even surprisingly large. However, it must be noted here that the whole team has played better than the matches that Pavlat saved during Armalis. Statistics do not necessarily tell the whole truth.
Kärpi lacks offensive equipment Tuukka Tieksola, Arttu Alasiurua and Julius Junttila and from the freezer Arttu Paaso. However, there is no need to make a big reduction in the team’s current playing strength. The one who returned to the ranks of ordinary mortals this season will start with the goal Niklas Rubin (89.57% / 2.67 / -3.16). Still, I don’t dare to count the goalkeeping advantage for Ilves yet.

The target was already tagged yesterday with a coefficient of 1.82. I’m just counting it for tracking.
