The official opening takes place tonight in the Casino Foyer of the Kursaal. The program includes a concert by the 101-year-old actress Alice then. She is accompanied by Bjorn Eriksson and brings songs from her new CD, with lyrics from, among others, Toon Hermans and Federico García Lorca.
During that same evening, the official Taz soundtrack is also presented, sung by Farnoosh, and philosopher Jean Paul van Bendegem gives a short lecture about time, the central theme of this edition. Artistic leader Cindy Godefroi and co-programmer Dominique Collet put together a diverse program on that theme.
