With a platform, the firefighters tried to catch the animal, but this failed. That is why it was decided to spray some water on the cat. That worked, the cat came down, but immediately climbed the next tree.

Right through the gloves
The aerial platform was positioned at the second tree, after which the animal was wet again. When the animal came down, a firefighter and a bystander jumped right after it to catch him. They both wore gloves, but the cat bit right through it.
