Ice hockey coach Jeff Tomlinson lost his eyesight and is practically blind today. Hockey coach Jeff Tomlinson has been virtually blind since 2021. He received an infarction of the optic nerve in both eyes, first in the right eye in 2020, and a year later, the same thing happened to the left. In the infarction of the optic nerve, or sudden loss of vision, the optic nerve and retina do not receive sufficient blood circulation. At its worst, the situation leads to blindness, and this was the case with Tomlinson.
