Bundesliga player Christian Eriksen collapses during another game. The situation doesn’t bring back good memories.
Big worries about Christian Eriksen: The captain of the Danish national team collapsed on the field during a friendly against Ukraine early on Sunday evening. Medical staff immediately rushed onto the field and the players formed a circle around the 34-year-old.
In the TV broadcast you can see that Eriksen grabs his chest and then falls to the ground unconscious. The game was then interrupted and no more pictures were shown from the stadium.
Eriksen had already collapsed at the 2022 European Championships and was fighting for his life. Since then he has been playing with a pacemaker.
