The Parade of the Magi of Barcelona will not go through the main streets of the city center in its next edition of 2023. Unlike other years, the route it will not pass through points such as via Laietana, Urquinaona square, Catalunya or Universitat. The reason for this change is the plays that are being carried out, precisely, in the via Laietanaand that are causing various effects on traffic.

Barcelona City Council has made public on its website the new tour, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. on January 5. Despite the changes, it will start and end at the same points as in previous years. As is tradition, his Majesties will arrive in the city by sea, aboard the Santa Eulàlia pailebote. The mayoress, Ada Colau, will receive them at the Portal de la Pau, followed by the parade of floats, which will end at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc around 9:00 p.m.
