Male students at the University of Santo Amaro in Brazil committed a sickening stunt while celebrating the championship of the school’s women’s volleyball team. A British newspaper reported on the matter Daily Mail.
After the match, the young men rushed onto the field, lowered their pants to their ankles and ran around the gym, touching their genitals at the same time. It was a kind of “masturbation ventilation”.
The students sitting in the audience were shocked by what they saw. The video of the incident shows one of the spectators showing the men the middle finger.
The video was shot back in April, but it only started going viral last weekend.
The “masturbators” were players of the university’s futsal team. They study medicine.
Six of the men were expelled from school. The police are investigating the case. The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, is also said to have been shocked by what he saw.
– This was sickening and inexcusable from young men who plan to become doctors and take care of people, Brazil’s Minister of Education Camilo Santana comments on the students’ rapture.
Brazilian female politicians were also nervous about the incident.
– Breaking the centuries-old misogyny is an ongoing task that requires the recognition of all kinds of gender-related violence, the release said.
