The 46-year-old who starred in Lost Evangeline Lilly says on Instagram that he got a brain injury.
Lilly says she passed out on the beach last May. He fell face first onto the rock.
According to research, he has cerebral palsy. Lilly doesn’t say in more detail what kind of brain injury it is, but says that every area in the brain functions impaired.
Lilly now plans to focus on her rehabilitation.
– Cognitive decline, since I smashed my face, has helped me slow down and have a peaceful end to 2025.
Despite everything, Lilly says she is grateful and feels blessed.
Lilly has had fainting spells since she was a child. Doctors initially believed they were caused by hypoglycemia, i.e. low blood sugar. However, this was later ruled out.
Michelle Pfeiffer, who starred with Lilly in the superhero movie Ant-Man, has commented on her colleague’s publication.
– You are a warrior. Nothing, not even this, can defeat you my friend, Pfeiffer wrote.
Lilly released shortly after her injury picture from his rugged face.
In addition to the popular Lost, the Canadian has also acted in Peter Jackson’s film The Hobbit – The Battle of the Five Armies and several Marvel films.
Lost is an American series popular in Finland as well, which was made from 2004 to 2010.
