King Charles’ coronation will be held on Saturday, May 6, and Prince Harry will travel to the festivities alone. Although Duchess Meghan will remain at home in the United States, royal expert Omid Scobie reveals that it was not unclear to Harry himself whether he would accept an invitation to the coronation.

– There was no question of whether he wanted to come or not. At one point it was a question of whether or not he could invite, Scobie stated This Morning in the talk show.

– In my opinion, the duke couple had to wait for confirmation as to whether they are really completely welcome to the event. This was all, of course Deputy– after the publication of the book. But Harry’s desire to participate was not at all unclear.

Although Harry has left his royal duties and has no official role at the coronation, according to Scobie, the prince’s presence at the festivities is still extremely important.

– There are strong constitutional reasons for his presence and Harry takes this seriously even though he is no longer a working member of the royal family, Scobie sums up.

At the coronation, Harry will come face to face with his family for the first time since the publication of the book that caused a stir. Scobie goes on to say that despite the family’s strained relationship, Harry still cares for them.

– A lot can happen over time. I think Harry doesn’t want to regret not being there at the important moment later.

Duchess Meghan will stay in the United States and will not attend King Charles’ coronation this weekend. PDO
