The host Warriors’ all-star point guard Stephen Curry was the field’s top scorer with 36 points and 6 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins contributed 20 points, 7 rebounds, and Kevon Looney contributed 4 points, 20 rebounds and 9 assists. De’Aaron Fox for the Kings had 26 points, nine rebounds and nine assists each; Domantas Sabonis struggled with 15 points and 16 rebounds.
SUNS RETURNS FIELD ADVANTAGE
The Phoenix Suns, who won 129-124 away from the Los Angeles Clippers, took a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference first-round series. The Suns were led by Devin Booker, who scored 45 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and Kevin Durant, who had 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Norman Powell’s 42 points, 5 rebounds and Russell Westbrook’s 30 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds performances could not prevent the defeat in the Clippers, who went to the field without Kawhi Leonard.
