NFL team Dallas Cowboys Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24, the club confirmed on Thursday.
– The Dallas Cowboys are deeply saddened to announce that Marshawn Kneeland has tragically passed away this morning. Marshawn was a valued teammate and an important part of our organization. Our thoughts are with his girlfriend Catalina’s and with his family, the club announced on Thursday.
Kneeland’s death came in the middle of his second season in the NFL. The Cowboys drafted him in the second round of the 2024 draft out of Western Michigan University.
The 24-year-old Kneeland’s playing position was the outer lineman of the defense.
The exact cause of death has not been announced so far.
