Phenomenal Concrete-TV broadcast will be closed on Friday, April 25th. The 24 -hour broadcast followed the drying of the concrete.
In its announcement, Digita states that the concrete casting dried earlier than expected. According to Digita, the concrete drying process was originally estimated to last about a month, but the warm days of April accelerated the process. Concrete casting achieved the desired drought on Wednesday at about eight in the morning.
– Everything good ends in time and the same goes for the drying of the concrete. We thank everyone who lived this exciting journey with us and are sincerely happy with the wave of positivity that the concrete of the Finns woke up. This exceeded all our expectations, Digita’s IoT business director Tuomas Kolkka thanks in the bulletin.
“We have been asked for a lot of another season and we are going to consider this seriously,” he concludes.
Concrete The purpose was to illustrate how modern IoT technology enables monitoring of moisture in structures. In the broadcast, viewers received real -time information on how dry the concrete slab is at any time. At the same time, the screen saw a general awareness of the characteristics of the concrete.
The concrete will end on Friday at 12 noon. The broadcast started on April 3.
In less than two weeks, the live broadcast on channel 38 and Digita’s website collected more than 270,000 views. Betonilive sparked debate both in Finland and abroad, and has been reported in the Netherlands and the United States, for example.
