Autobahn GmbH is doing it again! After the A111 was already completely closed at the start of the holidays, the most important connection between the Baltic Sea and Berlin is now also closed at the end of the holidays.
The full closure applies from Friday evening at 8 p.m. to Monday morning at 5 a.m. between Stolpe and Waidmannluster Damm – in both directions. During this time, Autobahn GmbH is carrying out renovation work on the approximately nine-kilometer stretch.
The six-week summer vacation in Berlin and Brandenburg ends on Friday. Many families have spent their holidays on the Baltic Sea.
A popular car route: the A111! That is not possible right now. The diversion runs via Hennigsdorf and Heiligensee (Hennigsdorfer Chaussee, Hennigsdorfer Straße, Heiligenseestraße, Karolinenstraße).
From Monday all children have to go back to school.
