NHL is a big goal.

– If all is doing well here, that booking may come. It’s also a goal for yourself, as is playing in the NHL. But that is not the point of the top now when the playoffs start here.

– I do not feel that the issue is currently timely. You don’t have to think so far now. If you were just thinking about the sting, that would be a pretty difficult goal.

Kirkkonummen raised for the first time in the league.

– Goals have to be chopped, you have to take small steps at a time. Through this, the NHL then comes if it is to come. I definitely work hard for it. It’s a motivator for me all the time.

Rimpinen has already played a total of about 60 matches this season under pressure, fans and media tracking. There has been a lot of load.

– There has been no mental fatigue, I have been able to find ways to prevent it. So far, there has been no physical fatigue. The fact is that if we go a long way in the spring, I will not be quite healthy in every game. And neither do I.

-There were already seven games in the World Cup for ten days. You have to find ways to stay scarp.

What ways are they?

– You can get more energy through diet. The cold pool before the game is good for me, it wakes up and takes away the feeling of fatigue. It works for me. You have to drink an extra cup of coffee, maybe I drink the coke on a hiatus, Rimpinen lists.

– On the daytime, you probably have to take extra sunbathing, there are no more wonderful stuff. Maybe in the spring you still have to find some new tricks to get the most out of it.

Rimpinen likes to play with viewers and have fun in the rink. The young man is known in Espoo by nickname Showtime.

Because of the publicity of the World Cup’s success, the Kiekko-Espoo organization even had to limit Rimpinen’s media appearances.

– Yes, we had filters on in January. It was quite carefully looked at what interviews were given and to whom. He also received quite a few invitations to different events. We sought peace for the young athlete at that point, says Kiekko-Espoo Marketing and Communications Manager Oscar Visa.

– The media or interview requests have not been disturbing. After the World Cup, a little calm was reassured and the focus was moved to the essentials, or everyday life. There have been not too many of these extras, says the league goalkeeper.
