Soon and Jari’s detached house in Riihimäki, which was completed in the early 1990s, needs an upgrade for the 2020s. Homely Niina and Rickard aka Rikke is rushing to the rescue today at Maikkari.
Professionals are in the hands of a major renovation, as it includes a kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, an entrance hall, a small hall and an entrance hall toilet. The size of the entire renovation in euros will not be revealed, but Rikke will open up some costs by way of example.

In some detached houses, the roofs will be replaced, but in the kitchen and living room they will be saved in good condition. They also want to be refreshed by painting them white.
– If you hire a professional to work, the cost is around 2,000 euros, says Rikke, a renovation builder.

In Pikkuve, on the other hand, you can get a resin coating on the tiles.
– Resin coating for a medium-sized bathroom costs an average of 4,500.
However, the space to be coated in Riihimäki is smaller, which is directly reflected in the costs. One rule of thumb for Rikke still gives viewers.
– The price per square meter for the resin coating is about 300 euros.

In addition to the coatings and paintings, a modern kitchen with appliances will be installed in Pia and Jari’s home, the floors will be replaced, the fireplace will be replaced, the decorative columns will be removed and the toilet will be re-furnished. Old wallpaper is removed from the walls and they are all painted. So there will be plenty of other costs.
Soon and after the renovation, Jari’s bedroom will be furnished with the couple’s own furniture, which will save money. MTV3
