HIFK goalkeeper Hugo Alnefelt24, was injured on Friday in the SM league match against Ilves.

A scary situation happened in the opening set. Lynx Teemu Engberg drove to the goal and his foot hit Alnefelt in the head.

The HIFK goalkeeper fell backwards and remained motionless on the surface of the ice. The Helsinki audience fell silent immediately.

Alnefelt, who had been lying on the ice for a long time, was taken from the rink on a stretcher. HIFK’s goal was replaced Rastislav Elias.

Emotions still bubbled up during the same period as the home team Sean Josling and Ilves Engberg were fighting in the rink. Both were sentenced to 5+20 minutes for fighting. Josling was eager to shout at the Ilves fence even as he left for the dressing room.
