The Florida Panthers beat the Washington Capitals

The Florida Panthers get wet at the right time of year. The panther pack took their fifth win in seven games when the Washington Capitals fell to the away court 6–3.

The best scorer of the match had scored 1+2 Anton Lundell. Two of Lundell’s points came late in the game as the Capitals looked to tie and narrow. In the second period, Lundell served by Colin White 3–0 goal.

Eetu Luostarinen got his 15th assist of the season by Gustav Forsling to a 1–0 hit. Panthers captain Alexander Barkov on the other hand, depressed the home team with a 4–1 goal at the end of the second period. In a two-on-one attack, Barkov made his own decision and passed by Darcy Kuemper with a hard wrist shot.

The Capitals played their second game without one Aleksandr Ovechkinwho said on Wednesday that his father Mihail had passed away.

Hurricanes raging

The Carolina Hurricanes were just as enthusiastic about the goal celebration, as they defeated the Montreal Canadiens 6–2.

They hit from the away team Sebastian Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Aho also had one assist point.

Canadiens Jesse Ylönen and Joel Armia collected an assist on the man.
