The 2023 NHL draft, that is NHL Draft will take place on the night between Wednesday and Thursday Finnish time in Nashville, USA.

The draw for the rosters was held at the beginning of May, and the Chicago Blackhawks received the first roster.

The Anaheim Ducks got the second reserve round and the Columbus Blue Jackets got the third.

As expected in advance, the Chicago Blackhawks used their first round to sign top Canadian prospect Connor Bedard.

There was no greater uncertainty about the selection in advance, as Bedard is known as a great top prospect. However, the uncertainty grew for the bookings of the Anaheim Ducks and Columbus Blue Jackets, who already received the next rounds.
