The Finnish ice hockey player was accused of doping – the club canceled the contract

Ice hockey player Rasmus Kulmala has given a positive doping result. The club represented by Kulmala, the Hungarian Ferencvaros, tells about it on its website.

The club says the player admitted his doping violation. Ferencvaros says they have canceled Kulmala’s contract.

Kulmala, 29, won the under-20 world championship in the ranks of the Young Lions in 2014. Later, he moved on to represent Hungary at the national team level. He played for Hungary in the second level of the World Cup the other year. Last spring, the World Championships at the main level were missed due to injury.

Kulmala has played in Finland for TPS and Tappara.
