According to the punishment order confirmed by the Prosecutor’s Office, the team manager Aki Ajo57, was guilty of endangering traffic safety in Hämeenlinna on August 15 of the current year.
Ajo, who was driving a passenger car, drove at the speed of 75 kilometers per hour in an area where the speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour. The speeding happened on Friday afternoon at 16:24.
Ajo was ordered to pay 14 daily fines, which make his income 5,936 euros. With the crime victim fee, the total amount of the fine is 5,976 euros.
In the tax year 2024, Ajo earned 313,000 euros, according to HS’s Tax Machine, of which 112,000 was earned income.
Ajo has finished his first season as team manager of the MotoGP team Red Bull-KTM. He has been running his own Ajo Motorsport team, which participates in the Moto2 and Moto3 series, since 2001.
Ajo is also part of the board of hockey’s SM league club HPK. Ajo has also financed HPK with a significant amount.
