Why don’t we do something, why don’t we send our army to Ukraine to stop Putin’s troops? A logical question, because it is heartbreaking to see the human and material consequences of the war. I’m only bothered by the ease with which some make the suggestion. Because as a defense reporter I know the price that soldiers and their loved ones pay for their broadcasts. A burden that is sometimes so unbelievably heavy.
